like the trip i took to austin and everything new
and the songs i love now that i think you'd love too
but then i remember the twisted things you said to me
the manipulation acts and the words i said back
that i'll always regret

sometimes i'll remember the tunes to your songs
and i'll have to catch myself to not sing along
you used to play them for me and tell me what they mean
